About the role#
The Real Estate Analytics, Research, and Governance team manages data across our global real estate portfolio. This team turns information into insights to support investment decisions and maintains governance practices. As a student, you will gain exposure to Canadian, US, and European real estate investment portfolios while working alongside our investment professionals.
What you'll do#
- Collect and maintain investment and portfolio-level data for Canada, the US, and Europe.
- Analyze the existing portfolio to understand risk metrics and exposures.
- Observe the real estate investment committee to learn about governance and decision-making.
- Maintain the accuracy of internal real estate management systems, specifically YARDI.
- Create charts and tables for portfolio presentations.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects to build your knowledge of the real estate asset class.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
