About the role#
This is a four-month, full-time student position for the Summer 2027 term. You will work with the Real Estate Analytics, Research, and Governance team to manage data from a global real estate portfolio. This role provides exposure to investment process governance and the chance to support informed decision-making through analytical insights.
What you'll do#
- Collect and maintain investment and portfolio-level data covering Canada, the US, and Europe.
- Analyze the existing portfolio to identify risk metrics and exposures.
- Observe the real estate investment committee to learn about governance and investment processes.
- Contribute to the accuracy of internal real estate management systems, specifically YARDI.
- Create charts and tables for portfolio presentations.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects to build working knowledge of the real estate asset class.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
