    About the role#

    As a Tools Engineering Intern at Beenox, you will join the team responsible for production pipelines, level editors, and internal tools. These tools are used daily by designers, artists, animators, and engineers. Your main goal is to improve the efficiency, speed, and ergonomics of creation tools to help our teams build high-quality content.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop, maintain, and debug applications and scripts for the production pipeline.
    • Collaborate with artists, level designers, and technical artists to optimize their workflows.
    • Build or improve intuitive graphical interfaces for internal game engine editors.
    • Write clean, documented code and take part in code reviews with senior team members.
    • Use common design patterns to program efficiently in Python or C#.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently enrolled in a university or college program in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
    • Strong command of object-oriented programming in C#.
    • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and memory optimization.
    • Experience with scripting languages like Python.
    • A clear passion for video game development.

    • Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
    • Term: Winter 2027.
    • Modality: On-site, five days per week.
    • Status: Paid, full-time internship.
