About the role#
As a Tools Engineering intern at Beenox, you will join the team responsible for production pipelines, level editors, and internal tools. These tools are used daily by designers, artists, animators, and engineers. Your main goal is to improve the efficiency, speed, and usability of creation tools to help our teams build high-quality content.
What you'll do#
- Develop, maintain, and debug applications and scripts for the AAA game production pipeline.
- Collaborate with artists, level designers, and technical artists to understand their needs and optimize their workflows.
- Design or improve intuitive graphical user interfaces for internal game engine editors.
- Write clean, documented, and efficient code while participating in code reviews with the senior team.
- Program effectively using Python and C# by following common design patterns.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a university or college program in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming with C#.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and memory optimization.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python.
- A strong interest in video game development.
- Good communication skills and an aptitude for teamwork.

- Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: This position is on-site, five days per week.
- Status: This is a paid, full-time internship.
