About the role#
As a Student Business Development Team Lead, you will represent Starlink on behalf of Mosaic. This role focuses on sales, lead generation, and community outreach. You will also take on a leadership component to support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination. This is a field-based role where you will build awareness and help families explore high-speed connectivity.
What you'll do#
- Own an assigned territory near campus and use broadband coverage maps to identify potential households.
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to introduce Starlink service and hardware offerings.
- Plan your own routes and track your outreach progress.
- Participate in local events, community connections, and referrals to build momentum.
- Support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination efforts.
- Identify strong student referrals for the program.
- Log your activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the field app.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review progress and refine your approach.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in school.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable personal vehicle for travel to rural territories.
- Valid driver's license.
- Smartphone.
- Ambitious, coachable, and comfortable meeting new people.
- Dependable and self-motivated work ethic.
