About the role#
As a Student Business Development Team Lead representing SpaceX, you will work on the Starlink Customer Acquisition Program. This is a field-based role focused on sales, lead generation, and community outreach. You will manage an assigned territory near your campus while supporting local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination.
What you'll do#
- Execute door-to-door outreach in your assigned territory.
- Plan sales routes and track your outreach progress.
- Engage with potential customers to explain Starlink service and hardware offerings.
- Identify opportunities to connect with residents at community events, farmers' markets, and local businesses.
- Support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination efforts.
- Log your activity, sales, hours, and mileage daily in the field app.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review performance and refine your approach.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- A reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and a smartphone.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- A coachable, ambitious mindset with comfort meeting new people.

- Compensation: Hourly base pay plus commission for qualified activations. Includes paid training, mileage reimbursement, and a monthly cell phone stipend.
