About the role#
As an Application Engineering Intern, you will gain practical experience by working on various projects across our automation operations. You will support our teams by performing daily tasks, contributing to ongoing projects, and developing your skills through direct mentorship and collaboration. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development, testing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation software and systems.
- Support the creation of technical sales demonstrations, documentation, and user manuals.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project updates to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Manage department equipment and assist with product inventories.
- Identify solutions for clients by matching customer needs with our internal offerings.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Seek regular feedback from your manager and team members to improve your performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field in the United States.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Strong critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and build strategic solutions.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks while maintaining high quality.
- Excellent communication skills to share information and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.

- Locations: Alpharetta, Georgia or Lombard, Illinois.
- Modality: On-site or hybrid.
- Note: Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location. No relocation assistance or stipend is provided.
