About the role#
This is a rolling Accounts Receivable Co-op position based at our headquarters in Detroit, Michigan. You will work 30 to 35 hours per week on a year-round basis. This is a paid role.
What you'll do#
- Download, review, reconcile, and post daily lockbox and electronic payments.
- Balance cash receipts daily and perform weekly reconciliations to bank accounts.
- Research unidentified payments to ensure they are posted correctly.
- Prepare documentation for intercompany wire transfers.
- Assist with Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 testing documentation.
- Maintain records for auditing purposes, including filing remittances and bank statements.
- Provide customer service to internal and external contacts.
- Assist with intercompany invoicing and various assigned projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program for Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Experience with Excel is preferred.
