About the role#
This internship provides support to the Shared Services function, specifically focusing on accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will work within the finance department to analyze vendor and customer accounts, identify financial risks, and uncover opportunities. This is a full-time, on-site role for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Analyze customer and vendor accounts to identify financial opportunities or risks.
- Assist with the monthly closing process by booking required journal entries.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner.
- Produce monthly financial statements and provide analysis on variances to budget or forecast.
- Communicate financial results to business leaders.
- Support ad hoc projects, including financial analysis and regulatory compliance tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to complete complex projects quickly and adeptly.
- A confident, professional demeanor with the judgment to maintain strong working relationships.
