About the role#
As an Operations Engineering Co-Op, you will join the Operations Engineering Department to support the Test Engineering team. You will assist with the development, documentation, and research of test systems and electro-mechanical fixtures. This role involves working on various projects under close supervision, with all output reviewed by the engineering team.
What you'll do#
- Support the Test Engineering team on diverse projects and applications.
- Perform research, studies, and documentation for test systems.
- Handle limited design tasks as assigned.
- Utilize small hand and power tools for assembly or maintenance.
- Perform basic soldering tasks.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma and active enrollment in an accredited university.
- Completion of the first full year of study in an engineering program, such as Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A basic understanding of electricity, electrical circuits, and electronic components.
- Sufficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with test equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, or signal generators is a plus.
- Knowledge of software development, programming, or PCB layout tools is a plus.
- Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus.

- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- The role is available for the Winter 2027 and Summer 2027 terms.
- This position is paid.
