About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience for students pursuing careers in counseling, social work, and non-profit administration. You will gain practical skills through direct client interaction while meeting the requirements for your school internship, practicum, or capstone project.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct, face-to-face service to clients in school-based settings.
- Deliver virtual or community-based support services.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, depending on your skill level and proficiency.
- Attend weekly supervision sessions to discuss your progress and client needs.
- Participate in monthly team meetings with staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Ability to meet the specific requirements set by your academic institution for your internship or practicum.
