About the role#
This internship focuses on administrative support, research, and program management. You will work alongside a site supervisor or program manager to gain experience in non-profit operations. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Washington, DC.
What you'll do#
- Reach out to local government officials.
- Organize stakeholders and prepare testimonies for public hearings.
- Communicate with existing partners.
- Observe or lead group sessions focused on postsecondary readiness.
- Handle weekly documentation, including attendance records and surveys.
- Coordinate and communicate with parents.
- Support marketing for BAM-FI events, including content creation and graphic design.
- Participate in professional development sessions.
What you'll need#
- Interest in administrative tasks and report-making.
- Interest in training, development, and program management.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Communications, Political Science, Sociology, or Psychology.
