About the role#
Young Life is hiring an intern for Club Beyond at a U.S. Military installation in Kansas. You will work alongside experienced staff to support military teens through relational ministry. This role focuses on building community, leading youth activities, and developing your own leadership skills in a ministry environment.
What you'll do#
- Meet weekly with your supervisor to review ministry goals and training.
- Lead and support Club Beyond club meetings and small group sessions.
- Develop a 90-day personal growth plan for your spiritual life.
- Attend installation chapel services and volunteer leader meetings.
- Recruit and train new volunteers while building a diverse leadership team.
- Mentor one volunteer on a weekly basis.
- Assist with community outreach and discipleship for teens.
- Communicate monthly updates to your personal donor partners.
- Discuss financial support goals with your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- You must have graduated high school at least 2 years ago.
- A deep love for Christ and a heart for teens.
- Strong initiative and a teachable attitude.
- Ability to communicate clearly with others.
- Experience or interest in small event planning.
- Willingness to raise a portion of your budget through personal support.
- Energy and a commitment to relational ministry.
- Majors in Psychology, Sociology, or Communications are relevant to this work.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.

- You are expected to live near the military community where you serve.
