About the role#
Xsolla is transitioning to an AI-first development environment. This internship focuses on driving that shift by building internal AI initiatives and creating proof-of-concept applications using company APIs and SDKs. You will work directly with senior engineers to ship production-grade code that reaches real users, including internal teams and external game developers. This is an active, hands-on role where you will contribute to the core engineering workflow rather than working on isolated side projects.
What you'll do#
- Partner with senior engineers to identify and resolve friction points through AI tooling and integrations.
- Build and deploy applications on top of Xsolla APIs and SDKs.
- Ship functional code that is adopted by internal teams or external customers.
- Utilize agentic coding tools, such as Cursor or Claude Code, as your primary development method.
- Participate in weekly demo sessions to share your progress and exchange AI workflows with a global cohort of interns.
- Operate with minimal process by taking ownership of ambiguous problems and building solutions from the ground up.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Communications.
- Demonstrated passion for building through personal projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
- Real-world fluency with agentic coding tools and the ability to explain how you used them to build and verify your work.
- A bias toward action when faced with ambiguous problems.
- Comfort with developing modern full-stack solutions and a strong desire to learn.
