About the role#
Xsolla is transitioning to an AI-first development model. This internship focuses on driving that shift by building internal AI initiatives and proof-of-concept integrations for company APIs. You will work alongside senior engineers and a global cohort of interns to ship production-grade code that impacts real users. This is a hands-on role where you will receive a problem and context, then own the process of building the solution.
What you'll do#
- Partner with senior engineers to identify and remove friction using AI tooling.
- Develop applications and integrations on top of Xsolla APIs and SDKs.
- Ship code that is adopted by internal teams or external game developers.
- Use agentic coding tools, such as Cursor or Claude Code, as your primary development method.
- Participate in weekly lightning-talk demos to showcase your work and exchange AI workflows with peers.
- Operate with minimal process to figure out and build solutions independently.
What you'll need#
- Genuine passion for building, evidenced by side projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
- Real AI fluency, including experience using agentic coding tools to build and verify functional software.
- A bias toward action and the ability to start building when faced with ambiguous problems.
- Comfort with developing modern full-stack solutions.
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or Mechanical Engineering program.
