AI-First Engineering Intern

About the role#

Xsolla is transitioning to an AI-first engineering organization. This internship is designed for individuals who want to contribute directly to internal AI initiatives and build proof-of-concept integrations using company APIs and SDKs. You will work alongside senior engineers to develop production-grade, customer-facing code, participating in a global cohort of interns to share workflows and technical ideas.

What you'll do#

• Partner and collaborate with senior engineers to identify and remove friction through AI tooling and integrations.
• Build and ship functional applications and integrations on top of Xsolla's APIs and SDKs.
• Use agentic coding tools (such as Claude Code or Cursor) as your primary development environment.
• Work with minimal process, taking ownership of problems from context to final build.
• Demonstrate your work through weekly lightning-talk demos.

What you'll need#

• Genuine passion for building, evidenced by side projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
• Real AI fluency, with demonstrated experience using agentic coding tools to build and verify functional solutions.
• A bias toward action and the ability to start building when faced with ambiguous problems.
• Comfort developing modern full-stack solutions.
• Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or Mechanical Engineering program.
