About the role#
Join the Investment team at WTW for a summer internship. You will work alongside experienced professionals to analyze information, solve client problems, and communicate investment insights. This position offers exposure to investment research, portfolio management, and client consulting. You will learn how institutional investors make portfolio decisions in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Research investment managers and strategies, organize findings, and help teams compare potential investment ideas.
- Analyze portfolio or performance information using spreadsheets and internal tools.
- Support teams in preparing reports and presentation materials for client meetings.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute questions, observations, and ideas.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Curiosity about financial markets and an analytical approach to solving problems.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate, stay organized, and follow through on commitments.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and presentations, or a willingness to develop these skills.
- Interest in pursuing the CFA is desired.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 1 to August 7).
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with at least three days per week in the office.
- Locations: Pittsburgh, PA; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; or New York, NY.
- Compensation: $26 to $28.75 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime.
- Benefits: Includes a contributory pension plan and a 401(k) savings plan.
