About the role#
The Solution Consulting Intern supports the Solution Consulting team by contributing to software demonstration projects. You will help translate complex technical scenarios into clear, customer-focused stories. This role provides hands-on experience working cross-functionally to showcase product capabilities, enhance customer understanding, and support pre-sales and onboarding activities. This is a paid, part-time internship.
What you'll do#
- Translate technical scenarios into clear stories for a broader audience.
- Assist in the creation and execution of software demonstrations showing different use-cases.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand product capabilities, impacts, and the customer journey.
- Support the Sales team as needed.
- Assist Client Services and Customer Success teams with customer onboarding tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Technology, Engineering, MIS, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Exposure to SaaS or Cloud-based financial solutions and ecosystems.
- Exposure to accounting and finance platforms, such as budgeting, planning, general ledger, financial modeling, and financial close.
- Exposure to data management platforms, including data warehousing, integration, APIs, and structured data like SQL.
- Understanding of software development, architecture, systems design, and networking is helpful.
- Experience creating presentations or conducting software demonstrations is a plus.
Location & details#
- This internship is primarily remote. If you live near an office hub, you may work in a hybrid capacity.
- Office locations include New York City, New York; Denver, Colorado; and Ames, Iowa.
- Available terms are Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Reliable internet access is required for remote work.
- Minimal travel may be required.
