About the role#
As a Software Development Engineer Intern, you will join our team to build real-world solutions and experience the development lifecycle firsthand. You will work alongside experienced engineers and product managers to grow your technical skills and contribute to projects that impact our customers.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to design, develop, and deliver software solutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Learn and apply software development best practices.
- Contribute to team discussions by sharing ideas and asking questions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Less than 12 months of previous professional work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Experience with at least two programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, Scala, or JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with AI tooling (such as Gemini, Claude, Cursor, Codex) and technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, MySQL, Git, or React.
- Ability to work in a team or collaborative environment.
- Prior internship experience.
- A desire to learn through constructive feedback and mentoring.
Location & details#
- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
- Term: Full-time, 6-month in-person internship from February 2027 to August 2027.
- Commitment: You must return to your university degree program after the internship concludes.
- Modality: Hybrid work environment.
- Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
