About the role#
This 6-month co-op placement offers students an introduction to the commercial drivers and challenges within the energy and natural resources sectors. You will work across our 5 key consulting sectors, including upstream, downstream, gas and LNG, metals and mining, and power and renewables. This role provides an opportunity to gain experience while working alongside a global team of analysts and consultants.
What you'll do#
- Build, analyze, and present datasets and supporting tools.
- Conduct desktop research exploring Gas and LNG pipeline developments.
- Examine commodity market fundamentals, including supply, demand, and price for base metals and battery raw materials.
- Collaborate with our global team to understand how to approach industry challenges.
- Engage in projects such as lifecycle carbon analysis of renewable technologies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Political Science, Economics, International Affairs, International Business, Environmental Studies, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Management.
- Availability for a co-op placement from January through June 2027.
- A demonstrated history of using data to solve problems.
- Strong collaboration skills, an analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Legal right to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based in Houston, Texas.
- The role is on-site, and you will work frequently from the office with your team and line manager.
