About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in audit work. You will work alongside professionals from all levels of the firm to develop your skills as a business advisor. You will support client engagements as an individual contributor and as part of a team, gaining exposure to various industries and businesses.
What you'll do#
- Perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures according to firm and professional standards.
- Gather information from clients to complete required documentation.
- Prepare or review financial statements, footnotes, management reports, and other engagement outputs.
- Respond to requests from clients and firm associates in a professional and timely manner.
- Use data analysis skills to find patterns and provide support for recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- Completion of a corporate or individual taxation class.
- Working towards eligibility to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- This is a full-time position based in Chicago, Illinois.
- This role is on-site. You will work from the office or client sites as required.
