About the role#
The Property Tax Intern supports our team with real estate and business personal property assessment reviews. You will help our clients achieve tax savings and provide state and local tax consulting services. This is a full-time position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the assessment review process and represent clients during hearings with taxing authorities.
- Prepare reports, analysis, and Letters of Findings to support our position.
- Review and submit status reports to clients.
- Visit client properties to conduct on-site inspections.
- Research state and local tax issues and track economic news to identify obsolescence.
- Assist managers and directors with business development research and project scoping.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Research, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
