About the role#
This is a full-time Audit Internship for the Spring 2028 term. You will work directly with professionals across the firm to gain hands-on experience in audit engagements. This role requires you to work on-site at the Wipfli office in Madison, Wisconsin, or at client sites.
What you'll do#
- Perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures based on professional standards.
- Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and management reports.
- Respond to requests from clients and firm associates.
- Use data analysis skills to identify useful patterns and information.
- Proactively find ways to improve current processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Master’s degree program in Accounting.
- Completion of a corporate or individual taxation class.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Progress toward meeting the requirements to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation.
- Coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
