About the role#
We are looking for an intern to join our tax team for the Winter 2028 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based in our Rockford, Illinois office. You will work directly with our professionals to gain hands-on experience in tax preparation and client service.
What you'll do#
- Prepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns and projections.
- Research tax issues and review financial reports.
- Gather necessary information by responding to client inquiries.
- Use data analysis skills to identify information and support recommendations.
- Conduct a limited number of tax return interviews.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- Completion of a corporate or individual taxation course.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position located in Rockford, Illinois.
- You will work from the office or client sites five days per week.
