About the role#
This 9-week summer program offers undergraduate students the chance to work within our Life Sciences investment banking team. You will work alongside junior and senior bankers to support our advisory services for companies in the biotechnology and medical technology sectors. The program is designed to provide practical experience, with summer analysts evaluated for potential full-time roles upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Take on the responsibilities of a full-time analyst.
- Research and create pitch materials for clients.
- Conduct valuation analyses to assess potential clients.
- Prepare industry analyses and projects related to public and private financings and M&A trends.
- Contribute to live financing and M&A transaction processes.
- Participate in direct client interactions within a collaborative team environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate bachelor’s degree program, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above is preferred.
- While all majors are considered, a background in the life sciences is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in the life sciences and a grasp of scientific concepts.
- A general understanding of accounting and finance principles.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Emotional maturity and the ability to adapt in a changing environment.
- High motivation and attention to detail.
