About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in public accounting within our public sector audit practice. You will work alongside experienced team members, gain exposure to associate-level responsibilities, and contribute to client engagements while developing your technical and leadership skills.
What you'll do#
- Perform audit procedures on financial statements and internal controls.
- Work with clients across governmental entities, including school districts, higher education, municipalities, and counties.
- Participate in client engagements and professional development sessions.
- Build your professional network by working directly with colleagues and firm leaders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Accounting.
- An anticipated graduation date of December 2028 or May 2029.
- A plan to be CPA-eligible within 18 months of completing the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

- Locations: Houston, Ft Worth, and Plano, Texas.
- Terms: Winter 2028 or Summer 2028.
- Modality: This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
