About the role#
As an Operational Excellence Intern, you will support programs that improve employee capability and organizational effectiveness. You will report to the APX Supply Chain Operational Excellence Manager while working from our Cranberry Township facility. This role focuses on creating training content, developing communication strategies, and building digital solutions to support our workforce.
What you'll do#
- Create training, learning, and process documentation resources.
- Support onboarding, employee development, and mentoring programs.
- Identify learning needs and build solutions alongside business partners.
- Develop communications to support organizational initiatives and change.
- Drive process improvement and operational excellence projects.
- Collaborate across teams to support learning and workforce programs.
- Use Microsoft 365 and digital tools to streamline operations.
- Track metrics and recommend improvements based on data insights.
- Support change management, stakeholder engagement, and adoption efforts.
- Foster continuous learning and knowledge sharing across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, management, organizational leadership, or a related field.
- Completed at least your Sophomore year of college.
- Ability to create instructional content, training materials, presentations, and communication resources.
- Proficiency in business systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft 365 platforms.

- Location: Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May to August).
- Status: Full-time, on-site, and paid ($23.00 to $26.30 per hour).
