    About the role#

    This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work with the Systems Engineering team to ensure release-critical tests run on time and maintain high health standards. This role is hybrid and based in San Francisco, California.

    What you'll do#

    • Ensure release-critical tests execute on time and stay healthy.
    • Debug and root cause issues in simulation tests by working with the simulation and systems engineering teams.
    • Build automation and infrastructure to alert the team of issues, assist with debugging, and track critical simulation tests.
    • Create systems and processes to identify issues early and drive them to resolution.

    What you'll need#

    • Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.
    • Strong coding skills in Python or C++.
    • Experience debugging complex systems.
    • Ability to isolate faulty components in distributed systems.
    • Understanding of SRE principles and SLOs.
    • Proficiency in SQL for writing glue code and building dashboards.

    • Modality: Hybrid.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Compensation: $60 per hour for Bachelor’s students and $70 per hour for Master’s students.
