About the role#
The Business Development & Sponsorships intern will support the Commerce product team within CNN Digital. This role focuses on driving revenue growth for CNN Underscored through affiliate marketing partnerships, sponsorships, content licensing, and ad sales collaborations. This is a paid, hybrid internship for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Support the end-to-end execution of advertiser sponsorship campaigns, including onboarding, asset management, and campaign delivery.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage campaign assets, content development, and execution timelines.
- Pull, track, and maintain affiliate campaign performance data.
- Develop post-campaign recap reports highlighting key metrics and insights for advertisers.
- Conduct research and analysis to support business development initiatives and strategic decision-making.
- Provide operational support during major commerce events.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior in academic good standing with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Strong interest in digital media and editorial commerce.
- Ability to remain focused and produce high-quality work across recurring, process-driven assignments.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

- Term: Fall 2026 (October 12th to December 18th).
- Commitment: 16 to 24 hours per week.
