About the role#
As a Sales Intern at WonderWorks Attraction, you will gain hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and guest engagement. You will work alongside our team to bring groups, organizations, and visitors to our indoor amusement attraction. This role focuses on coordinating group bookings, supporting marketing initiatives, and connecting with prospective customers to ensure positive guest experiences.
What you'll do#
- Support the Sales Management team with new sales contracts, group bookings, host arrivals, and follow-up communications.
- Assist with the execution of sales and marketing strategies to grow niche markets.
- Respond to inbound inquiries and conduct outbound calls and emails to provide information to prospective clients.
- Represent the company at community and promotional events.
- Provide customer service and help create memorable experiences for guests.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- A proactive approach to anticipating guest and customer needs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Enrollment in or completion of studies in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- Previous cold-calling experience is preferred.
- Experience using CRM systems is preferred.
- Previous experience in themed entertainment, hospitality, sales, or a related field is preferred.
