About the role#
This internship provides experience supporting global and regional sponsorship sales within the Rights team. You will work alongside industry experts to help build commercial propositions for sports, music, and entertainment organizations. This is a full-time, paid position based in New York City.
What you'll do#
- Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with team members.
- Compile a weekly Sponsorship & Brand Report for the sales team.
- Research prospect brand briefs and create bios for sales leads before pitch calls.
- Assist with research on properties and rightsholders for new business opportunities.
- Coordinate with the UK team on research and other projects.
- Join calls and meetings with global associates, clients, and prospective sponsors.
What you'll need#
- Interest in media, sports, tech, social impact, lifestyle, and entertainment.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
- Experience conducting research to support commercial or marketing proposals.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with overlapping deadlines.
- Proactive and curious approach to work.
- Basic knowledge of Salesforce is preferred but not required.
Location & details#
- Location: New York City, New York (One Liberty Plaza).
- Term: January 11, 2027, to May 7, 2027.
- Commitment: 40 hours per week.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with a preference for three days per week in the office.
- Compensation: $19 per hour.
