About the role#
The Sales Market Research Intern supports the sales team by conducting outbound research to verify venue information, programming schedules, and booking contacts. This role focuses on gathering competitive intelligence to assist with territory mapping and sales prospecting initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain an accurate database of venue information to improve sales outreach.
- Research websites, social media platforms, and public resources to gather relevant insights.
- Contact venues via phone and email to verify programming schedules and booking contacts.
- Assist with territory mapping and sales prospecting initiatives.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support outbound campaigns and strategic planning.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong verbal communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Comfort making outbound phone calls to venue managers and business owners.
- High attention to detail with excellent note-taking abilities.

- Location: Austin, Texas or remote.
- This is an unpaid internship for academic credit only.
