About the role#
Wade Trim is hiring an Engineering Summer Intern to join the Water Resources group in Fort Worth. This is a full-time, paid internship for the summer of 2027. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with various departments to support infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform routine engineering calculations under the guidance of a senior engineer.
- Analyze continuous flow and rainfall data.
- Assist engineers in creating and developing spreadsheet tools.
- Obtain project drawings from local municipalities.
- Collaborate with the Planning, Design, and Hydraulic and Hydrology departments.
- Copy and scan project-related drawings.
- Communicate with engineering staff and clients while maintaining a safe work environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
