About the role#
Wade Trim is hiring an Engineer Summer Intern for the Water Resources group in Columbus. This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027. You will work in a hybrid environment.
What you'll do#
- Perform routine engineering calculations under the guidance of a senior engineer.
- Analyze continuous flow and rainfall data.
- Help develop and maintain spreadsheet tools.
- Collaborate with the planning, design, and hydraulic/hydrology departments.
- Obtain project drawings from local municipalities and assist with document scanning.
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
- Strong organizational skills and a self-motivated approach to tasks.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with staff and clients.
- Knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit is a plus.
