About the role#
We are looking for students to join our team as Field Engineering Interns. You will work on-site, gaining experience in a construction environment while working alongside Field Engineers, Project Managers, and Field Superintendents. This is a full-time, paid internship with a Monday to Friday schedule.
What you'll do#
- Support Field Engineers, Project Managers, or Field Superintendents with daily tasks.
- Use Trimble knowledge to assist with project layout.
- Interpret engineering drawings and provide support in the field.
- Assist with material take offs and estimating.
- Review project drawings and coordinate design changes.
- Help with project coordination and safety requirements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year Engineering or Construction Management program.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to execute tasks under time constraints.
- Self-motivation and a desire to take on new challenges.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting at least 50 pounds, climbing, and working in various weather conditions and environments.
