About the role#
R.T. Moore is seeking a Field Engineering Intern to join our team in Tampa. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while working alongside project managers and field superintendents. You will be assigned to a specific project based on business needs and receive mentorship throughout your internship.
What you'll do#
- Support the work of Field Engineers, Project Managers, and Field Superintendents.
- Apply Trimble knowledge to assist with project layout.
- Interpret engineering drawings and provide assistance in the field.
- Assist with material take-offs and estimating.
- Help coordinate project activities and design changes.
- Support project safety requirements and initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year Engineering or Construction Management program.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to execute tasks under time constraints.
- Willingness and ability to wear a hard hat, boots, and other required personal protective equipment.
Location & details#
- Location: Tampa, Florida.
- Modality: On-site, in the field.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
