About the role#
As a Field Engineering Intern, you will work directly with our Field Engineers, Project Managers, and Field Superintendents. You will be assigned to a specific project based on current business needs and gain experience in construction operations. This is a full-time, paid internship with a Monday to Friday schedule.
What you'll do#
- Support field operations alongside project leadership.
- Assist with project layout using Trimble tools.
- Interpret engineering drawings to provide field assistance.
- Perform material take offs and estimating tasks.
- Review project drawings and coordinate design changes.
- Help with project coordination and safety requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year Engineering or Construction Management program.
- Ability to solve problems independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under time constraints.
- Self-motivation and a desire to take on new challenges.

- Location: Plain City, Ohio.
- Modality: On-site.

- Working conditions: This role involves indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions. You must be comfortable working near mechanical parts, at heights, and in confined spaces. The role requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, climb, balance, and wear required personal protective equipment.
