About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to learn about financial markets through a structured curriculum. You will work on projects that introduce you to complex problems and participate in a global training week. You will work directly with senior team members on trading strategies and complete one to two projects during the program. This is a 10-week, full-time, paid position based on-site in New York.
What you'll do#
- Apply quantitative analysis and research skills to discover patterns.
- Improve trading algorithms by transforming large data sets into usable trading models.
- Learn about the market making business.
- Apply basic data analysis tools to large trading data sets.
- Participate in ongoing training and a dedicated global training week.
What you'll need#
- A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering.
- A history of challenging coursework and a strong GPA.
- Exceptional quantitative, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong programming skills, specifically in C, C++, Python, and Pandas.
- Ability to express ideas mathematically and algorithmically.
- Ability to solve technical problems under pressure.
- Great communication skills and the ability to collaborate with peers.
- Intellectual curiosity and a high tolerance for ambiguity.
- A strong drive for success and an interest in financial markets.

- Compensation: $5,000 to $5,800 weekly.
