About the role#
BlazerVision employees support the production of live athletic events at Vincennes University. You will help create a professional game-day experience for fans, athletes, and coaches. This role offers hands-on experience with live sports production, camera operation, and broadcast technology.
What you'll do#
- Operate broadcast cameras during live athletic events.
- Assist with the setup, testing, and teardown of production equipment.
- Support live broadcasts and streaming productions with the crew.
- Follow directions from the BlazerVision Coordinator and production leadership.
- Help create an engaging atmosphere by assisting with fan engagement activities.
- Communicate with crew members to ensure smooth operations.
What you'll need#
- Current Vincennes University student in good academic standing.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays based on the athletic schedule.
- Reliable transportation to athletic venues.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Interest in fields such as communications, journalism, media studies, or marketing.
