About the role#
This internship focuses on the testing and validation of liquid cooling products and thermal management systems. You will work alongside engineers and technicians at our Dearborn Laboratory to support new product development. This is a paid, full-time position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support thermal and liquid cooling product testing in laboratory environments.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of test equipment and instrumentation.
- Collect, analyze, and document test data for engineering review.
- Create test reports and summaries of laboratory findings.
- Verify product performance against engineering specifications.
- Help develop test procedures and work instructions.
- Support troubleshooting of test setups and instrumentation.
- Perform routine calibration checks and follow laboratory safety practices.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong interest in hands-on laboratory testing and product validation.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Ability to analyze data and communicate technical findings clearly.
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
