About the role#
This internship focuses on the development, testing, and validation of lithium-ion battery energy storage products. You will work with electrical, mechanical, firmware, and quality engineers to gain hands-on experience with battery systems and management hardware. You will contribute to projects involving battery cabinets, power electronics, and safety compliance.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with electrical testing and validation of battery energy storage systems.
- Support the creation and execution of test plans, including data collection and analysis.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Help troubleshoot electrical, communication, and integration issues.
- Evaluate electrical components, sensors, and battery management system hardware.
- Assist with engineering documentation, specifications, and test reports.
- Participate in prototype assembly and laboratory testing.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and electronic components.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to work in a laboratory and manufacturing environment.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
