Global Sourcing Specialist (Co-op)

About the role#

The Global Sourcing team manages all direct procurement for hardware, covering cost management from final assembly to sub-tier supply chain suppliers. As a Global Sourcing Specialist (Co-op), you will support direct sourcing strategy and execution for a product line, managing commercial relationships and contracts. You will work within an environment that moves products from concept to customer delivery.

What you'll do#

• Support senior team members with end-to-end hardware sourcing responsibilities during new product introduction and mass production phases.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts for operational aspects, including cost management and margin analysis.
• Identify and manage suppliers, including relationship management, audits, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams to deliver new products.

What you'll need#

• BS or MS degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Previous internship experience delivering results on challenging hardware operations tasks.
• Ability to work across different time zones and attend meetings outside of traditional business hours.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Ability to commute to the San Mateo office 5 days per week.
