About the role#
As a Hardware Engineering intern, you will contribute to the design and development of cameras, access control systems, sensors, and other enterprise IoT products. You will own aspects of the electrical design from prototype through to mass production. Your work will be a part of future products that ship to customers. This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Mateo, California.
What you'll do#
- Partner with experienced engineers to design, debug, and validate hardware products.
- Design and execute experiments to test new circuit concepts.
- Perform schematic capture and layout for systems or test boards.
- Work with manufacturing partners to drive ongoing improvements to efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Expected graduation year of 2027 or 2028.
- Experience with electronic test equipment, schematic design, and board level validation.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to be hands-on.
