About the role#
Verdantas is seeking a civil or water resources engineering intern for Summer 2027. You will work from our Philadelphia office, gaining hands-on experience by assisting experienced professionals with real-world engineering projects. This role focuses on problem-solving, design, and technical development to build a foundation for your engineering career.
What you'll do#
- Assist in preparing engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications, and visual aids.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support stormwater design.
- Prepare CAD drawings according to company and client standards.
- Help with fieldwork, including construction observation and site visits.
- Review submittals and technical documents to check for project compliance.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- An interest in water resources or green stormwater infrastructure.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
