About the role#
We are looking for Intern Engineers to join our Roadway Design team in Minneapolis for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid position where you will support our engineering teams by performing tasks that reflect standard engineering curriculum. You will gain hands-on experience by assisting with real-world infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering teams with daily tasks and project duties.
- Help with the research, development, and design of various projects.
- Prepare engineering drawings and related documents as assigned.
- Perform basic engineering calculations.
- Organize information for use in technical drawings and project documents.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program, preferably with at least two years completed.
- A basic understanding of engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.
- An interest in transportation and infrastructure.

- The role is on-site and full-time for Summer 2027.
