About the role#
Verdantas is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer Intern for the Fall 2026 term. Based in our Fort Worth office, this full-time, paid internship provides hands-on experience with environmental and infrastructure projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain practical skills in design, data management, and fieldwork.
What you'll do#
- Organize and manage project data to ensure accuracy.
- Create plots and reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Develop and update technical drawings in AutoCAD.
- Review and annotate PDF documents for quality and compliance.
- Assist with project planning and research activities.
- Provide support during fieldwork as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Geotechnical, Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
- Familiarity with Excel and AutoCAD.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Interest in environmental and infrastructure projects.
