About the role#
Veracity Insurance Solutions is looking for a Junior Financial Analyst Intern to join the FP&A team. This role provides hands-on experience in financial planning, forecasting, and project-based analysis. You will work cross-functionally to help drive insights and improve business decision-making in a growth-oriented environment.
What you'll do#
- Collect, organize, and analyze financial data to support planning and forecasting.
- Assist with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Perform project-based analysis including ROI, cost analysis, and performance tracking.
- Identify trends and analyze variances across financial reports.
- Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations for leadership.
- Support scenario modeling and strategic planning initiatives.
- Maintain financial data, models, and reporting tools while identifying ways to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other teams to support business initiatives.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or currently in progress.
- Up to 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics, including internship experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
- A basic understanding of financial statements and core financial concepts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to financial modeling, forecasting, or data analysis is preferred.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Comfort using AI tools for analysis and efficiency.
- An interest in corporate finance or FP&A.
