Logistics Intern (Year-Round)

About the role#

This is a year-round internship position based in Highland Park, Michigan. The role requires a full-time commitment during the summer of 2027, with the opportunity to transition to a part-time schedule during the academic year, depending on class availability.

What you'll do#

• Assist with daily logistics operations, including the management of inbound and outbound freight.
• Support inventory management tasks such as cycle counting and resolving discrepancies.
• Coordinate shipments to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with customer requirements.
• Analyze data related to logistics performance to identify potential improvements.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal teams, such as production and purchasing, as well as external partners including carriers and suppliers.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A strong interest in logistics and supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with ERP or WMS systems is considered a plus.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
