About the role#
This is a year-round internship position based in Highland Park, Michigan. The role requires a full-time commitment during the summer of 2027, with the opportunity to transition to a part-time schedule during the academic year, depending on class availability.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily logistics operations, including the management of inbound and outbound freight.
- Support inventory management tasks such as cycle counting and resolving discrepancies.
- Coordinate shipments to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with customer requirements.
- Analyze data related to logistics performance to identify potential improvements.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal teams, such as production and purchasing, as well as external partners including carriers and suppliers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A strong interest in logistics and supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with ERP or WMS systems is considered a plus.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
