    About the role#

    This internship provides hands-on experience with advanced reproductive technologies. You will work across different departments to understand the full process of IVF and cattle reproduction. You will also complete a project on a topic of your choice to present at the end of your term.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist production teams with moving cattle, preparing equipment for IVF, and giving shots.
    • Help the export team with semen certifications, blood sample calcifications, and shipments.
    • Support the IVF lab with embryo freezing and inventory tasks.
    • Learn to use a pipette for stripping, moving, and loading embryos.
    • Manage inventory for semen and embryos.
    • Interact with clients regarding shipments and inventory management.
    • Complete a hands-on project on a topic agreed upon with your supervisor.

    What you'll need#

    • A degree in an agricultural field.
    • A background in agriculture is preferred.
    • Interest in learning all aspects of the business.
    • Proficiency with computers.
    • Willingness to learn and grow personally and professionally.
    • Flexibility with work schedules, as requirements vary by department.

    • Location: Boonsboro, Maryland.
    • This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
    • The term is rolling.
