About the role#
The Intramural Sports Official position supports the Campus Recreation program at the University of Wyoming. You will act as a representative of the department while managing games and ensuring a positive environment for participants. This role requires a balance of professionalism and responsibility, recognizing your status as a student first.
What you'll do#
- Officiate games by enforcing Intramural Sports rules, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with participant check-in processes.
- Manage game site set-up and clean-up.
- Attend all required program meetings and sport-specific training sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the University of Wyoming.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Eligibility for and acceptance of a work-study award through Student Financial Aid.
- Prior officiating experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Half Acre Gym and other on-campus sites in Laramie, Wyoming.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Part-time, paid at $13.50 per hour.
- Term: Rolling.
