Hourly Pooled - Football Video Student Assistant

About the role#

The Football Video Student Assistant supports the University of Wyoming football staff by capturing and organizing video content. This position is ideal for students in Communications, Media Studies, or Kinesiology looking to gain experience in collegiate athletics operations. This is a paid, on-site position starting August 3, 2026, for the Fall term.

What you'll do#

• Film University of Wyoming football practices and games.
• Assist the football staff in preparing video and other materials to evaluate player performance.
• Work with the recruiting coordinator to prepare and organize recruiting materials for prospective student-athletes.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the video or recruiting coordinators.

What you'll need#

• Must be a current University of Wyoming student.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful or difficult situations.
• Previous experience with video cameras or Photoshop is preferred but not required.

Location & details#

• Location: Laramie, Wyoming.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Availability: During Fall Camp (August 4–30), availability is required daily from 8:30 am to noon. During the football season, availability is required Sunday through Thursday from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm, plus game days. Additional opportunities may include travel with the team, NFL Pro Day, and summer football camps.
