About the role#
The Arts and Sciences Marketing and Communications Intern assists with outreach and promotional efforts for the college. You will gain practical experience in social media management, content creation, and email marketing while supporting the college's communication goals.
What you'll do#
- Manage A&S social media accounts across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Find stories and write news releases about faculty, staff, and student achievements.
- Create basic design projects such as posters, flyers, and mailers.
- Draft messages for email marketing initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at the University of Wyoming in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
- At least one year of internship or work experience in marketing and communications.
- Experience with basic design work.
- Ability to write news releases in a journalistic style.
- Experience planning, managing, and analyzing social media efforts.

- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2026.
- The role is based on-site in Laramie, Wyoming.
